Arshad has shown exceptional academic excellence and holds a Master’s Degree in Modern History from Jamia Millia Islamia . He is also a recipient of the prestigious Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Scholarship of Jamia. Prior to that, Arshad graduated from Patna College in Bihar. He was also eligible for INSPIRE SHE scholarship from the central government as he came under top one percent of his state board in his higher secondary. Arshad has dedicated his past few years to provide free tuitions to deprived students. Being young and spirited, he looks forward to challenges. However, he has never shied away from any challenges. In fact, he was never afraid to raise important questions, confronting injustices and challenging the power dynamics deep rooted in society. Believing in the value of education and consistent efforts, he has made himself more resilient, analytical and rational. Arshad enjoys traveling, playing chess and cricket. He joined the Young India Fellowship (YIF) to gain a truly liberal sense and perspective from an interdisciplinary approach. An avid reader, dreamer, activist, and highly adaptable in nature, Arshad would like to expand from his comfort zone to do something new. He aims to join an Ivy League College for his higher studies.
