Avinam completed his post-graduate degree from Sikkim University’s Department of English. A budding writer and an eloquent orator, he bagged the 2nd runner-up at the National Youth Parliament Festival 2021. Avinam also represented India in the Virtual Commonwealth Youth Parliament in 2021. He enjoys organizing workshops and reading circles for children and teens. Avinam finds solace and happiness in simple pleasures, such as tea, poems, and meaningful conversations; he treasures the art of letter writing and the power of human connection.
Via YIF, Avinam wants to explore his artistic expression and academic pursuits to further understand gender, queerness and folk literature.
