Cindy, coming from one of the most backward areas of the southern district of Manipur, where most parents desire their children to take the career they wish, not theirs. But she decided to choose a different path. She pushed herself with an entrance to JNV, Ccpur with a science background to political science as an honours degree, at her small little town, Ccpur. She is a calm, introverted but a brave soul nonetheless who has a a never-ending passion to stand out amongst the crowd. She believes in bringing up and uplifting the society, community is a must for her people. All throughout, she confined herself in developing in studies, and pushed herself to be the best version she could be, reaching out to different areas, like attending seminars, etc. Cindy’s quest for learning and exploring a new set of experiences brings her to the Young India Fellowship. She believes that Fellowship would teach her like no one else. Most importantly, her greatest ambition is to learn from the diverse group of people and adopt a holistic approach towards knowledge.
