Himani is currently appointed as a Project Associate, for the Center for Bioinformatics and Computational Biology . She is a Pharmacist by degree and did her Masters specialization in Pharmacoinformatics from National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Kolkata. Also, during her master’s program she gained theoretical knowledge of computational drug designing approaches, understanding of drug databases, and softwares which help in the area of in silico drug discovery process.
With the advent of various technologies there is a massive rise in medical data, and there is a much need for computational approaches for exploratory data analysis. She would like to take advantage of her pharmacological background in understanding medical data and dive deeper into Machine learning modeling & Statistics to strengthen her knowledge to contribute her best in the digital healthcare sector for the betterment of humanity.
