Kalyani is a strong-minded woman who paves her path in life. She was the student council president of her college. She was also the founder and editor-in-chief of Qeemle Magazine — an online student-run publication at the University of Delhi geared towards interviewing change-makers from all walks of life — that won the WSIS Prizes 2021 Champion Project accolade. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in Kathak and has represented India internationally. She enjoys following TV series, horse riding, and traveling. She devotes time towards volunteer work in her local community.
