Maitreyi Arwari

Maitreyi has a degree in B. A Political Science from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. As part of her final year dissertation, she was able to interact with the Bhotiya community of Uttarakhand which ignited her passion for research. She is also deeply interested in Geopolitics and world affairs. She has worked with the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a Research Assistant and also Mark Your Presence, an organisation that works with the State Election Commission of Maharashtra to strengthen democracy. A debater at heart, she is always keen to listen to the other side and all the nuances in between.YIF is a stepping stone for her to dive into academic areas that she has always wanted to explore in-depth and make an informed decision. She also hopes to make meaningful connections.
