Ravi Jhunjhunwala is the chairman and managing director of HEG Ltd, a subsidiary of the LNJ Bhilwara Group. HEG is the leading manufacturer and exporter of graphite electrodes in India. He serves as an independent director on the boards of a number of organisations, including JK Lakshmi Cement and India Glycols.
Ravi is an active member of the World Presidents Organization. He promotes corporate social responsibility through many of the companies under the LNJ Bhilwara Group. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Delhi University and the Centre D’etudes Industrielles (CEI) in Geneva.
