The International Summer Research Program (ISRP) at the University of California Santa Cruz (UCSC) offers a research internship opportunity for students from partner universities. It involves working with a faculty mentor at UCSC during the 8-week Summer Session, typically from mid-June to late August. Students from various disciplines and academic levels are eligible, provided they can commit to the full program duration.

KCL Biomedical Engineering Summer Research Programme aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills required to participate actively in research and development.
This is a rare opportunity for undergraduate students to explore becoming a researcher and solve real life problems, whilst preparing for the next phase of their education. Over this six-week period, students will work on an academic research project aligned with current research areas in the school of Biomedical Engineering, carrying out experiments to develop a solution to a pressing medical problem. During the programme, students will be based at St Thomas’ Hospital.
This is a full-year project where Toronto and Ashoka students will be placed in multidisciplinary teams and matched with a community partner in India (Mumbai). Over the course of the academic year (2025-26), teams research, propose, and ultimately prototype interventions to address the identified challenges. Students will present their interventions through a poster presentation to community partners.
