Experiential Learning Module (ELM)
The Experiential Learning Module (ELM) are real-world projects offered to the Young India Fellows, with the objective of providing effective platforms for the Fellows to learn problem solving, teamwork, client engagement, communication skills, project management, planning and execution.
The Centre for Entrepreneurship offers diverse projects every year, to fellows who are interested in various facets of entrepreneurship, innovation and social impact. Some of the projects include strategic planning and execution of the flagship events of CfE like Startup Ashoka, Hult Prize at Ashoka; Stakeholder management and partnership building, student engagement initiatives and documenting the inspiring stories of entrepreneurs of Ashoka.
Offbeat is a collection of stories which reflects upon the nuances of how a multidisciplinary education system and a liberal arts environment shaped and transformed the entrepreneurial journeys of alumni of Ashoka. It also digs deeper into their lives and, based on several interviews, tries to understand why they took this path, what kept the non-conformist in them inspired, their experiences, their failures, their struggles, their success, and mostly how it made them the human they today are.
