Bharatanatyam: Expression and Technique

This is a course designed for those with at least an intermediate level of proficiency in bharatanatyam. Different aspects and methods of immersion in abhinayam will be explored in the course, along with bharatanatyam technique. Two pieces of padam/javali and keerthanam will be the basic class material. These pieces will help the dancer build a vocabulary of emotive tools aided by movement technique.
