The course aims to introduce students to the world of capital markets. It might be tricky to traverse these markets alone, and they can be difficult to make sense of. The various stakeholders which play a role in the economy and how different forces in the market can make or break a company’s potential.
The course will include India-specific case studies as well as global case events, and a sharing of experiences of successful investors and entrepreneurs in India. The course covers several aspects of the economy in detail. This course will thus offer students the opportunity to hear of, and participate in, the opportunities and challenges faced by retailers, governments, and institutional investors.
The course will be covering one of the most niche areas in corporate finance- restructuring and turnarounds via analysing real-life case studies and working on mock cases.
