We are thrilled to announce that the Horizons Achievers Challenge 2026 is officially open as of January 22nd, 2026! Join us as we embark on a journey filled with exciting challenges that push the boundaries of creativity and intellect.
The Horizons Achievers Challenge is the ultimate platform for curious and ambitious high school students ready to tackle some of the most compelling and thought-provoking questions about our world. This year, the challenges are more exciting, future-forward than ever before!
The Horizons Achievers Challenge invites high school students to engage deeply with ideas that shape our world today and will define the future. Across five disciplines, each challenge presents a focused, real-world problem designed to test your curiosity, critical thinking, and ability to connect concepts to lived realities.
Whether you’re exploring human behaviour, economic choices, scientific innovation, entrepreneurial thinking, or technology’s role in society, this challenge is an opportunity to showcase how you think, not just what you know.
All five discipline-specific challenges have been released together. Choose one discipline that interests you most and submit an original response in one of the accepted formats:
