MFA, New School, NYCAdam Klein is the author of the Lambda Book Award-nominee, “The Medicine Burns” (High Risk Books); the Serpent’s Tail novel, “Tiny Ladies;” and the D.A.P. artist monograph, “Jerome: After the Pageant.” He edited “The Gifts of the State: New Writing from Afghanistan” (Dzanc Books). His work has appeared in the anthologies: Best American Gay Fiction (Little, Brown); Men on Men 5 (Penguin/Plume) and Vital Signs: Essential AIDS Fiction (Carroll & Graf). His work has appeared in The NYT: At War blog; The Evergreen Review; Subtropics; Bookforum; BOMB; Pank; Ninth Letter; Electric Literature; and elsewhere. He’s a graduate of The New School MFA writing program where he studied with James Lasdun and Sigrid Nunez and currently teaches creative writing at Ashoka University in Delhi.
