Cryptography, Hardware Security, and Theoretical Computer Science

I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science at Ashoka University, where I am mentored by Dr. Debayan Gupta. I am also a visiting Ph.D. student at the Technical University of Darmstadt (TU Darmstadt), working under the guidance of Dr. Sebastian Faust. Previously, I spent time as a visiting Ph.D. student at the IT University of Copenhagen (ITU Copenhagen) in the Center for Information Security and Trust (CISAT), where I was advised by Dr. Bernardo David. Before that, I gained valuable research experience as an intern at the Technology Innovation Institute (TII) in the Crypto Research Center, working with Dr. Abdelrahaman Aly.

I hold a master’s degree in Computer Science from Banaras Hindu University, where I conducted research on aspects of Computer Architecture with Prof. Swapan Kumar Basu. My undergraduate studies in Computer Science were completed at Ramakrishna Mission Residential College, Narendrapur.

My primary area of interest is the theory and design of secure cryptographic schemes for Applied & Verifiable Cryptography. In particular, I want to focus on a deeper understanding of the theory and design of scalable and efficient secure cryptographic schemes, which deals with the fundamental principles of practical and secure cryptosystem design. Additionally, I have a strong interest in cryptographic verifiable delay functions and the construction of time-sensitive cryptographic protocols and applications.
