Govind Iyer

Govind Iyer is an accomplished business leader and board director with a career spanning global corporations, private equity, leadership advisory, and philanthropy. He currently serves as an Independent Director at Infosys, where he chairs the Corporate Social Responsibility Committee and contributes as a member of the Nomination and Remuneration, ESG, Cybersecurity Risk, and Risk Management Committees. He is also Senior Advisor at Warburg Pincus, a leading global private equity firm.

Govind retired as a Partner at Egon Zehnder, a global leadership advisory firm, after an impactful career shaping leadership across industries. Earlier, he held leadership roles at Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola, and Heinz, building deep expertise in strategy, operations, and brand leadership.

Beyond the corporate sphere, Govind is deeply engaged in philanthropy and social impact. He is a Trustee of the Rockefeller Foundation, a #LivingMyPromise signatory, and serves on the Board of Karmayogi Bharat, the Government of India’s SPV for civil service capacity building through the iGOT Karmayogi platform. He has been a Founding Board Member and Chairperson of Social Venture Partners India, a Board Member of Social Venture Partners International, and has advised the Asian Venture Philanthropy Network (AVPN).

An active University of Pennsylvania alumnus, Govind has also served on the Wharton Executive Education Advisory Board, bringing his global perspective on leadership and governance to the academic world.
