Samikhysa is an ardent believer that passion along with perseverance moulds the path towards success. Her curtailed freedom is one of the reasons why she strives to be an independent person and tries to challenge the norms in her own way.
Born and brought up in a steady atmosphere at a small town in Odisha, she dreamt of the opposite. And luckily regional literature kept her sanity intact until she could understand it was obligatory to study science. But beating all the odds she went on pursuing her passion and has successfully completed her Masters in English Studies. Though her major interest lies in research, she is open to explore everything under the umbrella. She can usually be found floating in between pages of books and thinking in between lines and movie scenes. She can talk about beaches, necessity of education and owls with the same passion. Her inquisitiveness, quest to learn and grow, through holistic process captivated her towards the fellowship. She secretly admires her own self who someday would be able to come out of her comfort zone and feel confident of herself. Through YIF she wants to explore her capabilities, (un)learn and nourish her understanding with a set of diverse experiences and would be more than satisfied to bring changes the best way possible.
