At the age of 13 years, he became a child labourer. He was rescued and rehabilitated by Bachpan Bachao Andolan. Since then, he has been leading teams of fellow freed child labourers to raise aware through activities and speaking out on social malpractices like child marriage, girls education. In 2017, he became part of ‘Bharat Yatra’ and marched with Nobel laureate Kailash Satyarthi to make people aware people of sexual abuse. In 2018, he addressed ‘Laureates and Leaders for Children Summit’ in Jordan, urging all including leaders of businesses, Nobel laureates & eminent world politicians to ensure the implementation of child rights with a zero tolerance approach. He believes in social change through awareness.
