Yatish Arya completed his PhD in Economics from the University of Warwick, UK, in 2022, and his MA in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics in 2014. Between his MA and PhD, he taught as an assistant professor at the University of Delhi. Dr Arya’s research interests lie in studying questions related to socio-economic inequality and the political economy of persuasion, religion, and media. His recent work aims to understand the reasons behind group level inequality, how to deal with inequality in an efficient manner, and how behavioural biases affect voting behaviour.
