Advance major in Chemistry (ASP)
ASP is an advanced major program in chemistry. Those who have completed all the requirements for the chemistry major can join ASP with chemistry. Those who have completed their major in other science subjects (Biology/Physics/Mathematics/Computer science) and want to pursue ASP with Chemistry can also take admission in this program. To get the degree, students must complete 24 credits (16 credits for theory courses and 8 credits for ASP thesis). Later, it will be considered as a 4 years BS degree in Chemistry.
An ASP student can choose any professor’s group according to their choice and explore to advance research. It will give them an opportunity to get a research paper. One of the major advantages of ASP is that after completion, students can directly enroll for the Ph.D. program.
