The Ashoka Young Scholars Programme (YSP) Learning Sprint is a 3-day intensive summer programme designed for inspired and focused high school students entering grades 9-12. The programme brings together world-class Ashoka faculty and industry experts to create an experiential learning programme in your city.

No. YSP Chennai Learning Sprint is not modelled on a particular school board. It is open to high school students from all educational boards—including CBSE, ICSE, IB, Cambridge, State Boards, and international curricula. The programme is rooted in Ashoka University’s pedagogy that uses a liberal, multidisciplinary, and interdisciplinary approach, emphasising critical thinking, problem-solving, and real-world application.
Yes, you will receive a physical copy of a certificate of completion by Ashoka University, provided you attend all sessions and participate meaningfully.

No. All eligible students are welcome to apply, regardless of their prior academic background. The programme is designed for anyone with an interest in understanding financial markets.

Yes. All participants are required to review and adhere to the programme’s Code of Conduct and Terms & Conditions. This will be emailed to the enrolled students before the programme commences.
Yes. Candidates who are placed on the waitlist will be informed accordingly. As enrollments take place on a rolling basis, waitlisted students may be contacted if a spot becomes available.
Yes. Students who have recently completed Grade 12 and are NOT yet enrolled in an undergraduate programme are welcome to apply.
Yes, the YSP Chennai Learning Sprint accepts applications from international students. However, since it is a day scholar programme, YSP Chennai Learning Sprint will NOT provide travel (to Chennai or to the venue) and stay. Kindly ensure you make your own travel and accommodation arrangements.
Yes, you can apply for the YSP Chennai Learning Sprint if you don’t live in Chennai. However, since it is a day learning programme, Ashoka will NOT provide travel (to Chennai or to the venue) and stay. Kindly ensure you make your own travel and accommodation arrangements.
Yes, the application fee is ₹1,000 (non-refundable) and must be paid when submitting the application.
The programme fee for YSP Chennai Learning Sprint is INR 30,000 + GST. It includes-

The programme timing for YSP Chennai Learning Sprint 2026 is 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
No, students are not allowed to leave the school before the sessions for the day end.
Parents or Guardians may accompany students for drop-off and pick-up at the school gate. They will not be allowed to enter the school premises.
YSP Chennai Learning Sprint ensures student safety and health at the venue through a combination of dedicated security personnel and medical support services. The campus houses an on-site infirmary, staffed by nurses, providing basic health care. Students are responsible for the cost of prescribed medicines and any medical tests.
Students are supported by Teaching Faculty, along with the YSP Team. Together, they ensure that students have a smooth, engaging, and safe experience.
