UWP Beyond

‘UWP Beyond’ is the outreach initiative whereby our dedicated team of experts in critical thinking and academic writing extends its knowledge and support to secondary and higher education institutions across the country. Through thoughtfully crafted workshops, we cater to the specific needs of students and professionals from diverse backgrounds.

Our team has been actively engaged in conducting a series of impactful workshops in recent months. Here are some highlights:

Krittika Bhattacharjee:

  • Led a session titled ‘How can you develop critical thinking within a classroom in school?’ for teachers at Loreto School in Calcutta and Darjeeling. The talk focused on equipping educators with practical strategies to foster critical thinking in classroom design and teaching approaches.
  • Conducted another session called ‘Valuing Slowness and Restraint in Critical Thinking Processes’ for teachers at Jindal University, School of Language and Literature. This session explored alternative guiding principles and critically examined the current approaches to ‘Critical Thinking’ and ‘writing.’

Arpita Das:

  • Conducted a session on ‘The Role of AI in Critical Thinking and Writing’ at Pathways School Gurgaon.
  • Organized an online session titled ‘Writing Research to Publish’ at the University of Exeter, South Asia Center, guiding participants on effective research writing for publication.

Aditi Sriram:

  • Led a session on Critical Thinking for grade 11 students working on their research projects for the Extended Essay paper (IB curriculum) at Step by Step, Noida.

Rashmi Muraleedhar:

  • Delivered a speech on her pedagogical approach to teaching critical thinking to young adults at the TEDx event held at Government Medical College (GMC), Jammu.

Dibyangee Saha:

  • Conducted a session titled ‘Critical Thinking and Writing: Anatomy of an Argument’ at a law school in Calcutta.

Jasleen Kaur:

  • Led a workshop called ‘The Art of Crafting an Argument in Academic Writing’ for undergraduate students at PGDAV College, Delhi University, equipping students with the essential skills to construct compelling and persuasive arguments in their college essays.
